1. How much does it cost to place an ad?
There are 4 subscription durations. As the duration increases, the price per month decreases. Therefore, the longer you place your ad, the cheaper it is per month.

1 Month Ad - $50.00
3 Month Ad - $75.00
6 Month Ad - $125.00
12 Month Ad - $150.00
12 Month Ad With Front Page Banner Ad - $250.00

2. What are the different types of ads?

There are 6 different types of ads
Promote My Horse - Horse ad - promotes Youth and Amateur Show Teams
Breed My Horse - Stud ad - promotes Stallions at Stud
Train My Horse - Trainer ad - promotes Horse Trainers
House My Horse - Barn ad - promotes Horse Barns, Ranches, Horse Farms, Horse Breeding Facilities
Show My Horse - Show ad - promotes Horse Shows, Horse Clinics, Special Horse Shows
Shop For My Horse - Shop ad - promotes Horse Stores and Horse Services


3. How do I login? What about the first time?
a. To login (new or existing member), click the Login on the top right corner of the home page. This will bring you to the LOGIN page.
b. If you already are a member, type in your Username and Password, and then click LOGIN.
c. If you are not a current member, click the Not A Member? Join Today and it will bring you to the Sign Up page. Create a Username and Password, type in your email address, read and accept the conditions, and click Sign Me Up!.
d. After you are logged in, it will take you to your My PMH page. This is were you will see your current ads and be able to place another ad.


4. I’ve forgotten my password. What should I do?
Click the Login on the top right corner of the home page. The last line of the LOGIN page is... Forgot Password? Click here.  Click the link and follow the instructions.  Your password will be emailed to you.

5. What is a Banner Ad and how can I place one?
A Banner Ad is an advertisement on the Front Page (or home page) of the PromoteMyHorse.com website.  A Banner Ad can be any of the 6 types of ads.  Your Banner Ad duration goes with your existing ad duration and the Banner Ad amount is not prorated.  Therefore, it is best to place your Banner Ad in the beginning of your one year ad, but it can be placed at any time (and even for shorter duration ads).
 
To place a Banner Ad, login to your account, go to your My PMH Member Area page (directed there from login or click the My PMH on the top right corner of the screen), click the Place A New Ad icon, and select the 12 Month Ad with Front Page Banner Ad from the ad durations.  You can also upgrade an existing ad to a Banner ad by clicking the Add a HomePage Banner on your ad's Edit line in your My PMH Member Area.
 
Once you have purchased your Banner ad, you need to submit a Banner Icon for your ad to be placed on the Front Page. If you don't have a Banner Icon, we can create one for you at an additional charge.  The only valid format for a Banner Icon is JPG.  The standard icon size is 125x125, but any size icon will be reformated to 125 pixels in width.  To submit your icon, go to your My PMH Member Area page, scroll to your ad's Edit line, and click the Edit Banner.  You will then be transferred to your Edit Front Page Banner page where you can submit your icon.


6. How do I submit my Banner ad icon?
Once you have purchased your Banner ad, you need to submit a Banner Icon for your ad to be placed on the Front Page. If you don't have a Banner Icon, we can create one for you at an additional charge.  The only valid format for a Banner Icon is JPG.  The standard icon size is 125x125, but any size icon will be reformated to 125 pixels in width.  To submit your icon, login, go to your My PMH Member Area page (you will go directly there from logging in or click My PMH located on the top right corner of the screen), scroll to your ad's Edit line, and click the Edit Banner.  If you don't see the Edit Banner, you haven't purchased a Banner ad.  Upgrade your ad to a Banner ad by clicking the Add a HomePage Banner.  You will then be transferred to your Edit Front Page Banner page where you can submit your icon.


7. What is a Promote My Horse ad?
Promote My Horse ads are Horse ads that promote Youth and Amateur Show Teams.  Each Horse ad has 7 pages of information.
a. Horse page includes horse breed, horse disciplines, horse age, horse color, horse height, horse credentials and website link.
b. Rider page includes a horse survey (favorite horse, show, discipline, etc) and rider credentials.
c. Slideshow page includes up to 8 full screen pictures in an elegant changing slideshow.
d. Show Schedule page includes all the horse shows that you are scheduled to attend.  They will cross promote with Show ads.
e. Accomplishments page includes all the accomplishments you have made with your horse.
f. Barn page includes information about the horse barn.  It can cross promote with your barn's Barn ad.
g. Trainer page includes information about your horse trainer.  It can cross promote with your trainer's Trainer ad.


8. What is a Breed My Horse ad?
Breed My Horse ads are Stud ads that promote Stallions at Stud.  Each Stud ad has 6 pages of information.
a. Stud page includes stallion breed, horse disciplines, stud age, stud color, stud height, horse credentials and website link.
c. Slideshow page includes up to 8 full screen pictures in an elegant changing slideshow.
d. Show Record page includes all of the stallions show records by date.
e. Offspring Show Records page includes all of the stallons offspring show records by date. If the offspring has a Horse ad, it will cross promote.
f.  Barn page includes information about the horse barn.  It can cross promote with your barn's Barn ad.
g. Stud Fee page includes information about the price and conditions of the stud fee.


9. What is a Trainer My Horse ad?
Train My Horse ads are Trainer ads that promote Horse Trainers.  Each Trainer ad has 6 pages of information.
a. Trainer page includes years riding/training, contact infomation, horse breeds, horse disciplines, horse associations, horse credentials and website link.
b. Slideshow page includes up to 8 full screen pictures in an elegant changing slideshow.
c. Services page includes horse lessons - beginning/advanced, horse training - break/train/finish/condition/show.
d. Clients page includes all of the clients of the horse trainer. If the client has a Horse ad, it will cross promote.
e. Barn page includes information about the horse barn.  It can cross promote with your barn's Barn ad.
f. Accomplishments page includes all the accomplishments of the trainer.


10. What is a House My Horse ad?
House My Horse ads are Barn ads that promote Horse Barns and Breeding Facilities.  Each Barn ad has 6 pages of information.
a. Barn page includes contact information, horse breeds, horse disciplines, horse associations, horse credentials and website link.
b. Slideshow page includes up to 8 full screen pictures in an elegant changing slideshow.
c. Facilities page includes information about the Barn's facilities.
d. Services page includes horse breeds, horse disciplines, horse lessons - beginning/advanced, and number of horse trainers and assistants. 
e. Trainers page includes information about the horse trainers.  If the trainer had a Trainer ad, it will cross promote.
f. Clients page includes all of the clients of the horse barn. If the client has a Horse ad, it will cross promote.

Shop For My Horse ads are Shop ads that promote Horse Stores and Services.  Each Shop ad has 6 pages of information.
a. Store/Service page includes contact information and website link.
b. Slideshow page includes up to 8 full screen pictures in an elegant changing slideshow.
c. Merchandise page includes searchable merchandise item categories and descriptions.  The merchadise categories are selected from a dropdown menu and are searchable by viewers.
d. Events page includes the events schedule of the Store/Service.  If the show or clinic has a Show ad, it will cross promote. 
e. Promotions page includes any promotions from the Shop ad.
f. Clients page includes all of the clients of the Store/Service. If the client has a Horse ad, it will cross promote.


13. How long does it take to see my ad or photos online?
It’s instant! As soon as you click the Submit button, your ad is there for viewing! You can also change your ad as much as you like at no additional charge!

14. Can I change my photos or information?
YES!!!!! You can change your photos or information as much as you like without any additional charge! Isn’t that great?

15. I can’t put my pictures on my computer. Can you put my pictures on my ad for me?
Yes, we can upload your pictures to your ad at an additional cost. Email us by clicking Contact PMH at the bottom of the home page. You will need to mail us your pictures and we will return them to you.

16. I need help editing my pictures or creating my Banner icon. Can you help me?
Yes, we can help you with your pictures at an additional cost. Email us by clicking Contact PMH at the bottom of the home page.  

17. Why do I have to supply some personal information to place an ad?
Personal information like your name, address, phone number and email address is used for billing purposes only. It’s needed for our merchant account to fulfill your order.

18. Do I have to submit my Credit Card information to place an ad?
No, you don’t have to submit your credit card information to place an ad, even though we have a secure line to our merchant account and don’t store your credit card information. If you chose not to supply that information, you must click the Contact PMH at the bottom of the home page where you can email us. You can send us a check or call us with your credit card information. Once the payment is received, you will receive an email with a discount code to be used to fill your order. Please note that your order cannot be placed without a credit card or a zero balance (from the discount code).
